Don’t Forget to Vote! Early Voting Starts April 29!

Early voting will begin tomorrow, Wednesday, April 29, in West Virginia and will last until Saturday, May 9.

Early voting will be at the Marshall County Courthouse Monday through Friday during regular business hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

You do not need an excuse to vote early in West Virginia, but you must be registered to vote and will need to bring a valid photo ID to vote early or on Election Day.

If you don’t want to vote early, remember Election Day is May 12 and polls are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Find your polling place here.

And don’t forget, whether you are voting early or on Election Day, Independent/ unaffiliated voters are welcome to request a Democratic primary ballot and vote in the Democratic Primary Election. Independent/ Unaffiliated voters are no longer permitted to request a Republican ballot.
