Scott Varner has tirelessly served Marshall County and the Marshall County Democratic Party for over 30 years, from serving on the Marshall County Democratic Executive Committee to being an ideal candidate when he ran for the West Virginia House Of Delegates for 20 years to Marshall County Commissioner since 2014. He always supported other Democrats on the ticket, in addition to recruiting Democratic candidates. 

Scott has supported the Marshall County Democratic Party financially and with sweat equity. 

Scott promoted the principles of the Democratic Party while serving as Majority Leader in the House in the House of Delegates and as County Commissioner, while serving not just Marshall County and our state.
