The Marshall County Democratic Executive Committee will meet Tuesday, June 9, at 6:30 p.m. at Perkins in Moundsville. This will be our organizational meeting, new members will take office, officers will be elected, and vacancies will be filled. All registered Democrats and Independents are welcome to attend. 

The Marshall County Democratic Women’s Club will meet on Wednesday, June 17, at 6:30 p.m. at Perkins in Moundsville. All are welcome to attend.

The Marshall County Democratic Executive Committee has several vacancies after the May 12 election. If you are interested in filling a vacancy, please attend the June 9 DEC meeting. To be appointed to a vacant seat, you must be a registered Democrat and registered to vote in the vacant district. Each district is represented by one male and one female registered Democrat who resides in the district.

Vacancies are as follows:

District 2 Male and Female – Includes precincts 7, 9, and 10.

District 4 Male and Female – Includes precincts 19, 24, 27, 33, and 34.

District 5 Male and Female – Includes precincts 25 and 30.

District 8 Male and Female – Includes precincts 15a, 43, 45, 46, and 52.

District 9 Male and Female – Includes precincts 41, 56, 58, and 60.
